Complete Development for Custom and Standard Foundation Designs
If your project requires a foundation and support structure that is the right fit for a particular scale site, JEHT Design is your best source for a custom design that satisfies this need.
A properly designed and constructed foundation is critical to the long term, accurate operation of the weighing system. This includes the concrete, rebar and the support structure beneath the foundation.
The foundation is more than just the rebar and concrete.
The first step is the completion of a site geotechnical investigation. We will consult with the project's geotechnical engineer to assure the proper design criteria is utilized in the foundation's support structure.
Depending upon the local soil conditions, the proper foundation support design could range from simple sub-grade compaction to an extensive engineered sub-base to piling.

Armed with the geotechnical data, we will complete a design analysis and then develop both the foundation support system details along with a compatible foundation design.
Site-specific adjustments can be made for standard foundation designs
In many cases, the project's site could require modifications to a scale manufacturer's standard foundation design. This could be existing structures that need to be accommodated, customer material/construction specifications, special drainage requirements and more. We can provide site-specific, detailed adjustments to make standard designs fit a particular site.
This weighbridge foundation was designed to fit within an existing silo foundation footprint.
The final package, for custom and standard designs, will include all details required to construct both the support structure and the foundation. The end result will be a completed foundation system that is properly designed for both the weighing application and the local conditions.
